Happy Thanksgiving

This is a couple of days late, but I wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I have a lot to be thankful for, and this was made much more clear to me this week when an unexpected medical emergency has forced me to slow down and stay on bed rest.

I've always known that I have a fantastic team working for me, but this week has made me appreciate them even more. They have stepped in to take over every detail for our upcoming weddings to make sure that our clients are taken care of, so wedding plans can continue without skipping a beat.

Marianne, Ali, Leah and Kelly - thank you. Our company is successful because of your hard work, dedication and teamwork. I couldn't do this without you.

Why We Love This Job

Sometimes when you're so caught up in your "to do" list, it's easy to forget what makes you love your job. We're in the midst of an unusually busy fall, and as I started another workday at 5:00 a.m. today, I came across a blog posting from Something Fabulous, an event design company that I respect very much. I couldn't have said it better myself.
